Beginnings
Tanit LLC was founded on April 26, 2009 by Douchka Lecot and Laura Tamayo. Douchka and Laura are experienced linguists working in all manner of language services with a special focus on translation.
A common love of language and shared vision brought the two independent entrepreneurs together to form Tanit, a wholistic language services company.
What do you mean ‘wholistic’?
Tanit focuses on integrated communication efforts with socially responsible decisions that promote positive human connections.

Our decisions are interconnected.
Improving the quality of communication (documents, interpretations, voice overs, written pieces, etc.) affects understanding, perception, integration, and acceptance between groups.
Developing our connection to the world around us improves our own understanding and enhances our ability to relay clear information.
And helping others articulate their message improves interhuman communication.
